In addition to the standard edition of the album, which includes twelve songs on two CDs, Hardwired ... to Self-Destruct also appeared as a deluxe edition. This contains a third CD with 14 songs. In addition to the track Lords of Summer, these are three cover versions and ten live recordings that were recorded on April 16, 2016 at the Record Store Day concert in Berkeley, California. Only the live version of the piece Hardwired was released on August 20, 2016 in U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
