So you've learnt how to fly RC. You know how to take off, fly in circuits and do loops and rolls and land with confidence. What next? Some speed? No problem. Then go for the RADJet 800. It's cheap and runs on standard 3S2200 packs that you probably used in your trainer. It's NOT super fast but it's a good step up from the speed you would be used to as a beginner. The motor can be easily swapped out for a hotter 4S setup if you would like to push it to adrenaline pumping speeds.

The RADJet is super easy to assemble. The power system is pre-installed, just attach the propellor with provided prop adapter onto the motor shaft. The servos are pre-installed and already hooked up via push rods to the control surfaces. Just install your receiver and setup your transmitter for an elevons mix. Ensure you balance the RADJet at the recommended CG point by moving the battery as necessary.

With correct CG this RADJet is easy to hand launch. Their is no shortage of power to fly this out of a nice straight throw. Don't throw to hard as there can be a tendency to twist when you do this. More important to throw straight and level than throwing hard. Climb high at full throttle, easy back to half throttle and trim out. When happy the RADJet flies fairly straight and level on medium throttle wind it up and dive and climb. The roll rate is like a dremel ! Be ready for it. The slow flight characteristics of the RADJet are awesome. You don't have to fly full throttle all the time. With practice you can really slow it down and keep within the bounds of a small flying field. Landing is a piece of cake...just glide and slide to a stop. The design of the underbelly prevents damage to the servos and propellor.
