Описание: At least two children, ages 8 and 10, are dead and another 17 are injured after a mass shooting during the first week of classes at a Minneapolis Catholic school, according to the Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara.

O'Hara confirmed the gunman was in his early 20s and appeared to be acting alone before taking his own life behind the church holding mass. The shooter was armed with a shotgun, a rifle and a pistol.

"There are no words that can capture the horror and the evil of this unspeakable act. Children are dead. There are families that have a deceased child," Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said. "You cannot put into words the gravity, the tragedy or the absolute pain of this situation."

Fourteen of the 17 injured were children, according to O'Hara.
