Summer Filler Plant Shopping & Planting My New Raised Bed

Описание: Today's extended video is a visit to my local plant nursery, Linden Nurseries near Scunthorpe in North Lincolnshire, for a plant shopping trip to add more summer colour to my new raised bed project and other areas of my UK tropical style jungle garden. On today's shopping list are ideas for filler or companion plants - the perennials, grasses, bedding and colourful plants which really help tie the garden together and are great for creating a vibrant summer display, reinvigorating established borders and attracting wildlife & pollinators into the garden. I hope there's plenty of easy, low maintenance & bold plant ideas in here for all your garden conditions - from full sun, south facing & sandy gardens through to shady borders with rich & moisture retentive soil. After a walk around the nursery looking at the 'ordinary' garden centre plants I'd use to create an extraordinary summer garden, I then grab a trolley and it's time to join me & buy some plants! Following that I head home and look at how to plant a border - my new raised bed project - including tips on plant spacing, border design, colour schemes as well as how to establish your plants and set them off to the best start. Linden Nurseries address: Ermine Street, Appleby, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, DN15 0BZ (next to the railway crossing between Broughton & Appleby). 2025 opening hours 11am - 4pm. It's a friendly, family-run place and they currently don't have a website or offer nationwide delivery but are always busy with local customers as well as those who travel a little bit further for the plants and pots!
