How to Make a Paper Garland

In this video, you can learn how to make a paper garland very easily for your next event. This is perfect for any type of party whether it be a birthday, easter, baby shower, wedding party….. You can definitely make this within a budget. Check out the materials and some tips and tricks below:


Materials:
1) Tissue Paper (assorted colours) – I used 6: royal blue, light blue, yellow, light pink, magenta and purple
2) String
3) Thread (I used normal stitching thread)
4) Needle
5) Hooks or Pins
6) Pencil
7) A 9 cm (in diameter) circle to trace
8) String lights (optional) – I purchased mine from Canadian Tire
9) Scissors


Tips & Tricks:
I made 12 garlands in total that I looped in half over the string to give a full effect and it looked like 24 garlands. Each garland was approximately 320 cm in length with 108 circles in an assorted pattern. I used 18 circles of each colour per garland making a total of 108 circles for each garland with a grand total of 1296 circles for all 12 garlands. I cut 216 circles of each coloured tissue paper.
