Both the temple and observatory can spawn Fewmi who is able to hit you with nauseous flames from their lanterns. The flames don't do damage, but they do prevent you from devouring ghosts to sustain your hunger making them a nuisance on hardcore difficulty. Getting these floors back to back is troublesome. You could easily collapse from hunger.
I recommend resetting the shop on either of these floors by exiting to main menu until the enhanced flame item appears that neutralize projectiles when you flash at ghosts. We exit with 4000+ vanquishes getting us close to the next wand upgrade at 4800.
