Ghost Gear

Описание: Ghost Gear is abandoned, lost or discarded fishing gear in the ocean. Through the Wild Coast Sussex project, Sussex Wildlife Trust has been working with local commercial fishers and recreational divers to identify ghost gear off the Sussex coast which can continue to fish and cause entanglement and plastic pollution.

We have been working in partnership with the charity Ghost Fishing UK, who have been removing ghost gear from the marine environment. Watch our short animation to find out more.
