Nuakhai festival is a great festival of west Odisha.... We celebrate this for welcome of new crop(rice) of this season every year....we worship goddess maa samalei and all ancestors of our family.....all members of family bound to come home to celebrate this festival...we wear new clothes...we together eat poha(flattened rice) of new harvested rice... All members of family respect and wish each other by saying beautiful word "NUAKHAI JUHAR 🙏" and talk each other about past bad and good moments and wish each other for good relationship ahead....
👉To make it special and entertaining this year we just add dress theme beshti(lungi)&shirt, arrange dance programs , some competition for childrens...
