Описание: Chengde Mountain Resort was built between 89 years time of 1703 and 1792 of two emperors, Kangxi and Qianlong.

The resort covers an area of 8400 mu, two times the size of Summer Palace and seven times that of Beihai Park, even bigger than the Old Summer Palace that was called the“garden of all gardens”, and its wall is already 10 kilometers long. It can be divided into four areas, namely palace area, lake area, plain area and mountain area. 110 groups of various buildings like palaces, halls, pavilions, towers, temples and nunneries are laid out in the islands, lakes, forests and mountains. It is never an exaggeration to say that the resort is a comprehensive expression of ancient gardens. As the example of traditional Chinese culture and a giant cultural treasure house, it plays an important role to the inheritance and development of traditional culture.

The towers, palaces, pavilions, halls, temples and abbeys boast traditional Chinese architecture style, and the gardens, sculptures, inscribed boards, hills, waterfalls, plants and creaks boast the essence of traditional Chinese culture and the exchanges and integration of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, thus forming this imperial garden featuring simple and elegant that’s designed by humans but like the work of Heaven. The garden boasts very high artistic achievement and represents China’s traditional garden.

The climate here is pleasant, with lush mountains, clear wind and cool summer.
