I finally found the easiest way to play my beloved Rings: a simple Keystep from Arturia. 🎹
I know it might sound cheap, but this morning I enjoyed a lot this super basic patch, so I decided to record a quick jam.
I imagined a melancholic Japanese atmosphere, almost decadent, post-apocalyptic.
And here it is.
Some quick patch notes:
Rings is in Synpathetic strings / two-note polyphony mode
Keystep is sending V/oct and gate signals (out of frame)
Rings' brightness is modulated by an LFO coming from Stages, attenuated by Quadratt
Beads (in OSC mode) is exciting Rings
Monsoon for crazyness and reverb
Headphones for the very best stereo quality. 🎧
