In this study, we seek to understand what Jesus meant when he said that heaven and earth would pass away within the lifetime of his own generation. We suggest that the “heaven and earth” to which Jesus referred was the “world” (kosmos) of Judaism which arrived at it's prophetic destiny through the fulfillment of all prophecy at the end of the age of Torah in AD70.
