Hi I'm Kevin Cotter one of the owners here at New Earth Market in Chico, and we also have a market in Yuba City and I'm going to show you about our little truck; how we move product back and forth between our two markets.

So our truck is a 2011 ISUZU NQR Diesel truck. It's a four cylinder diesel. It's a small enough chassis that anybody with a class C license can drive it, which is really great for our market. We have certain people that are trained on the truck but we don't have to have a class A or special air brake or any endorsements for the vehicle. So it makes it really pliable for what our use is on a daily basis.

We have diesel; it's good it has lots of torque, but not too much because we're in the flats so it works perfectly for what we're doing, going up and down the valley. We really don't have a need to go in the mountains with it, so it does what we need it to do.

It does have a diesel particulate filter on it so it meets the California emission standards. We also have a def tank on the side so it- what that does is essentially it burns all the soot off so it keeps the air cleaner and it's a very efficient diesel engine. It's very quiet, easy to drive. It's a fun little unit to be-bop around down the roads on. So this is a working truck we use it almost every day.

In here you can see this is the control unit for the refrigeration up on top, it's all digitally controlled. That's a separate motor from the engine that drives the truck. It's it's own independent motor, and it does draw fuel from the main tank that the truck uses, and they do share the same battery.

This cab does tilt forward for maintenance. It's real easy to work on that way. If you need to work on the refrigeration until up top, this little bracket is a place for folks to stand on. So it doesn't damage the cab of the truck. And these little steps just fold down. just fold down, so people can climb up and down. It's not as easy as it looks.

And then this plug in here is if we want to plug in using building power instead of running our unit. We can plug in next to a building and use that power instead of running this engine if we need extra refrigeration.
