Octo is 2012 Hanse 445. Designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co and built by Hanse Yachts, Octo is a beautiful example of a boat that offers so much in terms of its ease of handling, extended fast cruising ability, and outstanding level of comfort.

Her enormous cockpit is perfect for cruising and entertaining and boasts twin wheels which provide a wide-open lane to the boat’s drop-down swim platform and allow you to get well outboard when steering.

Halyards and control lines run directly to the boat’s twin helms and combined with her self-tacking jib, electric winches and a well-positioned battery of rope clutches make short handing the boat absolute simplicity.

Below, the 445 reaps the benefits of some great hull design. It’s beamy, with a lot of freeboard and that translates into an incredibly spacious and comfortable saloon. The owners’ cabin is also spacious, and the separate toilet and shower will certainly please most. There are two large double cabins aft and separate guest head.

There is a well-designed navigation station to port, an L shaped galley with twin basin sink, gas stove and oven as well as microwave and two separate refrigeration compartments.
Octo has an array of Simrad instruments as well as auto pilot.
