Get ready to practice the asana sequence for Week 19! 9 more sequences to complete the 28 Week Beginners Course! The first half of the video is focussed on the standing poses.These are a great foundation and can be practiced by most people. Later we do the seated forward extensions like Paschimottanasana, Janu Sirsasana, Trianga Mukha Paschimottanasana
and Marichyasana 1.
Please note that women who are menstruating should not do the inversions or abdominal contracting asanas such as Navasana. In addition if you are not an Iyengar Yoga practitioner and have any neck, shoulder, high pressure issues please skip these asanas. Instead you may do Setu Bandha Sarvangasana.
