According to a report by real estate consultancy Anarock, residential sales across seven key Indian cities fell by 6 percent to 90,715 units during the April-June quarter. The report cites economic uncertainty and rising housing prices as the primary reasons for this decline. Anarock's data shows that total residential sales in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR), Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata stood at 96,285 units during the same period last year. Additionally, the report notes a 7 percent increase in average housing prices across these seven cities during the current quarter compared to the same period last year.
