On September 12, 2025, Metro Police in Las Vegas arrested Nevada State Senator Edgar Flores near the intersection of Lamb and Lake Mead boulevards.
According to police, Flores was stopped after officers noticed signs of impairment. Body camera footage shows officers questioning Flores before placing him under arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence.
He was later booked into jail and released the same day. The case remains under review by prosecutors.
