I know you've been all waiting for the METASPEED SKY+ review but ASICS gave me the EDGE+ so EDGE+ review it is.
Not like I mind as the ASICS METASPEED EDGE+ is an excellent running shoe.
The METASPEED EDGE+ is designed to help cadence-type runners go faster by extending their stride length while allowing them to control cadence more easily.
It features the FF BLAST™ TURBO foam which is half as light as EVA foam; bouncy, soft-to-medium-firm and lightweight.
The new EGDE+ is actually heavier than the Edge v1 but has the same 8 mm drop. It has a more targeted carbon plate placement – the plate now sits closer to the ground, putting more foam underfoot between the plate and foot. The plate is also more curved, compared to METASPEED SKY+.
Also new is the Motion Wrap Upper which provides improved power transfer and improved reinforcement.
Available from 14 June 2022, RRP $250/£225.
