TWO NOTORIOUS SNATCHERS ARRESTED

BY TEAM OF AATS CENTRAL DISTRICT WITH RECOVERY OF ONE SNATCHED MOBILE PHONE AND ONE SCOOTY USED DURING COMMISSION OF CRIME.

• TWO NOTORIOUS SNATCHERS ARRESTED BY TEAM OF AATS, CENTRAL
• MANUAL AND TECHNICAL SURVILLANCE LED TO THE ARREST OF THE ACCUSED
• ONE SNATCHED MOBILE PHONE AND ONE SCOOTY USED DURING COMMISSION OF CRIME HAVE BEEN RECOVERED.
• 02 CASES HAVE BEEN WORKED OUT ALONG WITH THE ARREST OF THE ACCUSED.
• ACCUSED MOHD AMAN IS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 02 CRIMINAL CASES.

BRIEF OF INCIDENT–
On 26.08.2024, an incident of snatching was reported at PS IP Estate in which the complainant stated that as he was going towards ITO Metro Station at around 08:25 PM near Udupi Cafe Delhi, two boys came on a Scooty and snatched his Mobile Phone and fled from the spot. Accordingly, case FIR No. 283/24 dated 26.08.2024, U/s 304/2/3/5 BNS was registered at PS IP Estate, Delhi and investigation of the case was taken up.

TEAM AND OPERATION–
Keeping in mind the gravity of the offence, a dedicated team of AATS/Central District, headed by Inspector Raghuveer Meena, I/C AATS comprising SI Ravi Shankar, SI Satpal Dagar, SI Surender Kumar, HC Anuj Kumar, HC Rajbir, HC Ravi Gulia, HC Sandeep Kumar, Ct Devi Singh, Ct Bishu Singh, Ct Lalit and Ct Ronak under the overall supervision ACP ACP/Operations was constituted to solve this case.

During investigation, local enquiry was made, CCTV footages of nearby area were obtained and scanned thoroughly. Local information was also obtained from various informers within the area. Several forward and backward CCTV footages were analysed in which two persons were seen committing the crime on a green coloured scooty. The team put more effort into the case and on 03.09.2024 secret information received by the team that the accused is at his residence at Phoolwali Ballimaran. The team immediately went into action and on the instance of informer two accused namely Musa & Mohd Aman was apprehended from Gali Phoolwali Ballimaran, Delhi.

Upon questioning they disclosed their name and address as Musa R/o Gali Phoolwali Ballimaran, Delhi age 20 years and Mohd Aman R/o Gali Gadhiya, Dariya Ganj, Delhi age 21 Years. One snatched mobile phone and one scooty used during commission of crime have been recovered from their possession.

ACCUSED ARRESTED-
1. Musa R/o Gali Phoolwali Ballimaran, Delhi age 20 years.
2. Mohd Aman R/o Gali Gadhiya, Dariya Ganj, Delhi age 21 Years.

RECOVERY-
1. One snatched mobile phone.
2. One scooty used during commission of crime.

CASES WORKED OUT-
1. FIR No. 283/24 dated 26.08.2024, U/s 304/2/3/5 BNS PS IP Estate, Delhi.
2. E-FIR No 80091753/24 dated 22.08.24 U/s 303/2 BNS PS IP Estate, Delhi.

Further investigation is in progress.
