To say we were blown away to learn that there are 23 Columbian Mammoths in Central Texas is an understatement! This park will take you all of 30 minutes to an hour and a half to visit depending on how much you like to read and soak in. We all enjoyed learning about the Mammoths here and seeing the size these beasts were plus big bonus points in being able to do this while having the joys of air conditioning! The kids also worked hard on this trip to fill out their Junior Ranger books to become Junior Rangers, this marks their 2nd park, first being Carlsbad National Park.
