Thx for checking out the video and track! It's one of the tracks that i knew as soon as i heard the beat and starting writing that it would be one of my favorites and it's lived up to that. I'm really proud of the production and everything that went into it. It also features one of my favorite vocalists and someone i'm honored to work with Lydia Paek. the song is about everything that's going on inside your brain to hold you back from ...everything. Self Doubt. Self Worth. Self Love. everything is in doubt. This is my way of dealing with that doubt. The video to me also represents re-birth in a way...and some adoption feelings. I feel like the video represents this sense of anxiety that we have as adoptees feeling disconnected from the place that birthed us - which contributes to our feelings of longing and feelings of doubt.
