We went into the match confident after winning the first leg 3-2, where I managed to score twice. But the atmosphere at the San Siro and the brilliance of AC Milan made it one of the toughest nights I’ve experienced on the pitch.
I talk about facing Clarence Seedorf, whose performance that night I still consider the best individual display I’ve ever come up against.
