Surf Trip to Newquay (UK, March 2018) (Vlog #91)

Описание: Vlog of a 2 nights/3 days surf trip to Newquay in Cornwall, England.

Some useful information:
We hired the car for 3 days from easirent.com (without full insurance, we bought an external one for 5£/day), we paid in total 100£ including the fuel. Pick up location: Heathrow airport.
We stayed at St Christopher's Inn Newquay for 13£ a night for the
6 beds room (ensuite). NOTE: if you book directly from their website you get breakfast included. The hostel was cool, especially for the fact that they have a pub and you get 25% discount on all the food and they have a 2 for 1 promotion on some beers like Foster. The are some problems though: the music doesn't stop until 2 so there is a lot of noise in the rooms on the first floor right above the pub (we had one of them and I wasn't able to sleep until 2am) and there is no room where to store the boards to you need to put them in the room. A good alternative for the same price is Newquay International Backpackers.
I had a wetsuit and all the rest but I had to rent a shortboard and it was 15£ per 24h. I had this price after bargaining with the guy, otherwise it can be 10/15 a day. If you hire a longboard then it is cheaper, around 7/day. A wetsuit is around 5£ per day as well as gloves, hood an boots. Let's say that with max 20/25 a day you can get everything!
IT WAS FREEZING outside but with a proper 5:4, a 2mm hood, 5mm boots and 4mm gloves, you can stay in the water even more than 3-4h without feeling any cold!
