Описание: National Medical Commission has released the FAQ’s regarding Compulsory Rotatory Medical Internship (CRMI) Regulations 2021. This video is here to explain the CRMI Regulations 2021 in simple and easy language to help students understand the same. The CRMI Regulations came in enforcement on 18.11.2021. It is applicable to all students starting internship on or after 18.11.2021 and want to practice in India. It is mandatory for all medical practitioners who want a permanent registration to practice in India. The duration of internship should be 12 months. All Indian Medical graduates as well as foreign medical graduates need to undergo 12 months internship from medical college or institution approved by the Commission and listed by the Undergraduate Medical Education Board. The Dean/Principal/Director or any other equivalent authority is responsible for the implementation on CRMI Regulations 2021. The internship should be completed within 2 years after qualifying NExT 1 for Indian Medical graduates and after qualifying FMGE for foreign medical graduates. The exemptions can only by given only under some special cases. Provision of leaves during internship has also been defined under CRMI Regulations 2021. No transfers are permitted during the internship. Eligibility criteria have also been defined for both Indian medical graduates and foreign medical graduates. Medical colleges or institutions may allow up to 7.5 per cent of their permitted quota of interns to accommodate internship by Foreign Medical Graduates. Mentor can be students appointed by Department HOD who have completed PG. All students shall be paid stipend as fixed by the appropriate authority applicable to the institution/University or State.
