At the heart of the entire Lake District, stands Great Gable, with steep, dangerous cliffs on all sides, leaning on no other fells. While most folks are drawn to Scafell as the biggest fell for a day out, we wondered if size isn't really everything & maybe stature & presence have a bearing!
