This meditation will help you to adapt to a more calm and healthy state of being. Calming a sympathetic response is common with those who have experienced trauma and many other stressful experiences throughout their lives. When we know how to reach this parasympathetic state, we can redirect ourselves during times of stress and during times when we feel the stress hormones in our bodies. With time and self-observation we can change the way our bodies respond.
Before beginning your practice, please consult a medical professional to see if meditation is right for you. This meditation should never replace any medication nor be used as a replacement for professional medical health. Annie Rosenberg is not a licensed medical professional, therefore this meditation is a simple addition to any health regimen or protocol.
