Japanese Hokkaido milk bread is fluffy and yummy. It is very easy to make. Resting the dough is the hard part since you have to wait for the yeasts to do their job. When your dough rises double, it is very rewarding. :0).
Ingredients:
40gram bread flour or all purpose flour + 200gram water
4 cups bread flour or all purpose flour (about 600g)
1tbsp active yeast
3tbsp granulated sugar
1tsp salt
2tbsp dry milk powder
1/2tsp pandan extract
1/4 cup unsalted butter (50gram)
1 cup + 2tbsp coconut milk
1 egg
eggwhite
