Ingredients for Dal Baati :
✨For Baati:
Wheat flour (गेहूं का आटा) – 2 cups
Semolina / Sooji (सूजी) – 2 tbsp
Besan - 1 cup
Ghee (घी) – 4–5 tbsp
Ajwain (अजवाइन) – ½ tsp
Salt (नमक) – to taste
Baking soda / Eno – a pinch (optional)
Water (पानी) – to knead dough
🍲 For Panchmel Dal:
Toor dal (अरहर दाल) – ¼ cup
Moong dal (मूंग दाल) – ¼ cup
Chana dal (चना दाल) – ¼ cup
Urad dal (उड़द दाल) – 2 tbsp
Masoor dal (मसूर दाल) – 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder (हल्दी) – ½ tsp
Red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च) – 1 tsp
Coriander powder (धनिया) – 1½ tsp
Jeera powder - 1 tsp
Salt (नमक) – to taste
🌶️ For Dal Tadka:
Ghee (घी) – 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds (जीरा) – 1 tsp
Asafoetida / Hing (हींग) – a pinch
Garlic (लहसुन) – 6–7 cloves, chopped
Green chilli (हरी मिर्च) – 1–2, chopped
Dry red chilli (सूखी लाल मिर्च) – 2
Onion (प्याज़) – 1 medium, finely chopped
Tomato (टमाटर) – 1 medium, chopped
🌿 For Garnishing & Serving:
Fresh coriander (हरा धनिया)
Extra ghee (घी)
Lemon wedges / Churma (optional)
Optional use of Airfryer to make extra crisp :
Kee Baati at 180 degree temp for 15-20 mins
