Dadar gulung (Rolled pancake/omelette) is a popular traditional snack of sweet coconut pancake. It is often described as an Indonesian coconut pancake. In Indonesian, dadar literally means "omelette" or "pancake" while gulung means "to roll". It is a green-coloured folded omelette or pancake made of flour, salt, egg, coconut milk, filled with grated coconut and palm sugar. It is commonly found in Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei.
Coconut Filling :
200g Shaved Palm Sugar
1/4 tsp Salt
2 Pandan Leaves (knotted)
50g Water
250g Shredded Cococonut
Pandan Pancakes :
250g All-purpose Flour
25g Cassava Flour
1/4 tsp Salt
1 Whole Egg
65g Instant Coconut Milk
25g Vegetable Oil
1/2 tsp Pandan Extract
500g Water
Gradually ddd the 500g water
