In this previously unheard 1975 interview conducted at the Hollywood home of composer/songwriter SAMMY CAHN, Mr. Cahn vividly recalls seeing FRANK SINATRA perform at The Riobamba night club in New York City in March 1943.
Sammy Cahn first met Sinatra in 1940 when both worked for Tommy Dorsey, and they remained close friends and colleagues until Cahn's death in 1993.
Recorded from the original 1975 reel to reel tape in the RIC ROSS Frank Sinatra Collection. Mr. Ross is widely recognized as the leading expert on Frank Sinatra's career and amassed an archive of thousands of Sinatra recordings over a 60-year period.
