Movement Snack! Up & Down.
One of THE MOST IMPORTANT movements to do, especially as we age, is to get up and down off the ground. Your ability to do this not only strengthens hips, legs and core, but it is what determines your independence.
Can't get up off the floor? Can't live alone.
Start where you are, notice how you get in and out of chairs and on and off the toilet. I show multiple variations in the Snack but ask me if you need more!
See if you can make a point to get down and up off the floor at least three times a day. Be intentional and practice often especially if it's challenging (pets and kids help!).
