Is a 7' basement worth finishing?

Описание: Sure, having a 7' basement ceiling height has some limitations. You can’t get a squat rack in there or skip rope but otherwise, there isn't much difference from other rooms.

I’m 6’3” and my basement from finished floor to finished drywall is just a hair over 7 feet and I can say, without a doubt, it was worth doing.

My kids have somewhere to play, I have somewhere to hide, and someone is using it everyday.

Besides, you spend most of your time lounging so the lack of headroom isn’t noticeable.

Just don’t use too many dark colours because it will make it feel small.

The only draw back is that we end up putting to much junk down there but we’re working on decluttering, selling stuff on Facebook and donating stuff.

The big thing is finishing your basement can make your life better.
