In this video, I’ve built a Smart Pedestrian Crossing System using Arduino UNO, IR Sensor, Traffic Light Module, Push Button, and Buzzer.

👉 When a pedestrian presses the button, the traffic light turns red for vehicles and green for pedestrians — allowing safe road crossing.
The IR sensor detects cars waiting at the signal, and the Arduino controls the timing for safe and efficient traffic management.

🔧 Components Used:

Arduino UNO
Traffic Light Module (Red, Yellow, Green LEDs)
IR Sensor (for vehicle detection)
Push Button (for pedestrian request)
Buzzer (for crossing alert)
Breadboard & Jumper Wires
(Optional) LDR for night mode demo

⚙️ Working Principle:

Normal mode: Cars move (green light ON).
Button pressed: Pedestrian request activates.
Arduino checks IR sensor → stops traffic safely → gives walk signal.
After countdown, system resets to normal mode.
