Описание: Darui has always been seen as an oppressive character that was only being chosen AS an assist character, because of the great tracking his projectiles had. No one was fully committed to him as a point character, but in Connections there is a high possibility that this will change. Darui has received a lot of quality of life changes that make him an interesting point character to say the least. Even though his movement has become a little bit slower than his previous counterpart, he gets carried through all of this with his newly improved second jutsu.

Darui has two primary jutsus at his disposal. His first jutsu sends out a load of projectiles that track your opponent. On hit it stuns the opponent and allows you to follow-up with a dash. This can also be done on your opponents guard, so that you are relatively safe afterwards. This jutsu can be used in the air and also allows you to dash afterwards. Be sure to use it wisely though because if you miss you will be wide open for a counterattack. To go against this it is wise to always use switch tech to stay safe whenever you are using this move.

His second jutsu is a rush attack where he glides on water and ends up slashing your opponent. On hit it causes the opponent to be in a bounced state and you can confirm a lot of things after this (except for ultimates). This jutsu also has armor on it which makes it the best tool in Darui his arsenal. It clashes with all of the other rush attacks and can be used as a work around of the counter mechanic. It is a great tool to engage your opponent with and it also works great as a combo extension tool! The fact that you can cancel the move as well makes it even better. This allows for certain setups to be made possible and makes it even more viable to use in most scenarios.

Overall, Darui has become a very strong point character in Connections and definitely deserves to be looked at. Check him out if you haven’t already!
