Which is better bricks or AAC blocks?
AAC blocks are a very strong building material. AAC blocks have the strength of more than 4N/mm2(MPa). They are more strong, robust and safe than both bricks and concrete blocks. Due to this property, they can be used conveniently in all different kinds of wall construction.
Is plastering required for AAC block wall?
Plastering is not mandatory for AAC blocks until and unless it has uneven surfaces or you want aesthetically good looking and good finishing walls. A thin layer of plaster can be done for AAC blocks. Autoclaved aerated concrete(AAC) is mixture of cement, lime, water, and sand with a small amount of aluminum powder.
Which is cheaper brick or block?
Cheaper: Block masonry are quite cheaper compared to their brick counterpart. They are known to cost Rs. 1,500 lesser than brick masonry for per cubic meter.
