What would the world look like if you could see beyond the the rainbow? Filmed using an infrared camera, this is London as you’ve never seen it before.
This is how the Dune 2 team got the epic Harkonnen arena fight scene on Arrakis to look so incredible—Feyd-Rautha (Austin Butler) isn’t really that pale, but filming in IR increases the pallor and smoothness of skin, as you can see if you watch the video. Kudos to director Denis Villeneuve for bringing IR to the cinematic mainstream as something other than a night-vision effect!
