In January 2021, Shepherd Offshore announced a new partnership with North Tyneside Council for the redevelopment of the historic former Swan Hunter Shipyard. Located in Wallsend, North Tyneside, Swans Energy Park will play a key role in job creation in the North East.
Shepherd Offshore is currently taking enquiries for Swans Energy Park. The site is ready for mob/demobs & quayside projects. Offering over 31 acres of developable land, the Company is welcoming businesses to join the cluster. Current users include Baker Hughes, TechnipFMC, IHC, Bridon-Bekaert, JDR, Newcastle University Subsea and Newcastle College Energy Academies.
