A truly beautiful tune with so many stunning versions recorded over the years. The track was written in 1931 by Fabian Andre, Wilbur Schwandt and lyrics by Gus Kahn.
It was first recorded in February 1931 by Ozzie Nelson and also by Wayne King and His Orchestra, with vocals by Ernie Birchill. A popular standard, it has seen more than 60 other versions recorded. (Wiki)
Almaz love this tune. Joanne's favourite version is by the late great Ella Fitzgerald and a lovely version can be found by The Hot Sardines, or Caro Emerald. So many to choose from.
