I took a quick fly out to Bronkies to see if there were any hungry bass..
There were a few, but you still had to work to get them on the line, they were high up in the water columb and very fussy about food...
3 on plastics, 1 on a spinner, top water action was dead even though fish could be heard being active all around at times.
I am very happy with this little trip. The carp rods disturbed what little sleep I got but a great feeling when those buzzers scream to life, dragging you from the depths of a deep slumber... You gotta love it!
