HOMEMADE CORNBREAD
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup salted butter
2 large eggs lightly beaten
Combine all ingredients. Bake in cast iron for 30 mins on 400 or until golden brown
DRESSING RECIPE
INGREDIENTS:
6-10 cups Turkey Stock
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped white onion
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
3 tablespoons softened butter
Salt
Ground or rubbed sage
Black Pepper
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Paprika
2 eggs beaten
Salt if needed
Shredded Chicken
Makes 4-6 servings
Bake on 400 for 1 hour. Uncovered last 20 minutes on 425
