Sorrento Wedding Videographer | Destination Wedding Videographer Back in July, we travelled to Sorrento in Italy to film the destination wedding of Teresa & Brian, who travelled all the way from Chicago, yes Chicago! What an honour it was to film an American wedding in Italy.

We were lucky enough to stay in the hotel next door to where the bride and groom got ready so it was literally a 30 second walk. The hotel Villa Garden in Sant’Agnello overlooked the sea and had stunning views of other parts of the Amalfi Coast and Capri.

The wedding venue was the wonderful Villa Antiche Mura which was right on the edge of the cliff, again overlooking the coast and all the amazing views. When the sunset it was one of the best sunsets I have ever seen so I had to take some timelapse video of the sun going down, I think I got it right as sometimes in the UK the sunset just doesnt look that good.

The photographer on the day was Mike Garrard from Mike Garrard Photography. This is the 3rd time I’ve worked with Mike and he’s a top guy, check out his website as his photography is absolutely unreal. He has some great ideas and is just very chilled when working, perfect for a videographer to work alongside on the day.

As it was our 1st time as a Sorrento wedding videographer, we wanted to make sure we captured as many location shots as we could in the time we had there, so I did actually do some location filming the day before the wedding to add to the start of the film and to really set the scene of this destination wedding.

Looking back, I would have loved to just travel around with my camera for a whole week as there was just so much to see in such little time. Sorrento is certainly a place I will go back to, hopefully to film more weddings too!
