O2 Sensor Extensions. This BBK Performance O2 Extension Kit is designed to extend the front (upstream) O2 sensor harnesses on 2015-2017 5.0L GT Mustang models that have been upgraded with long tube headers. The factory front oxygen sensor wire harnesses on the S550 are slightly too short to reach the O2 sensors on Long Tube Headers, rendering the sensors effectively useless – which is not strictly legal and can also result in poor engine performance. The simple plug-and-play design of the BBK Performance O2 Extension and Hardware Kit will bridge the gap, with one end bolting into the back of the upstream sensors on the Headers and the other into the factory harness.

Complete Kit. The BBK Performance O2 Extension Kit is designed specifically for the upstream sensors, and includes two 6-pin harnesses (one for each side of the exhaust) and the five bolts required to install both extensions. These extensions feature a sleeve lining that provides a layer of heat protection from the exhaust metal and will extend their lifetime. Please note that O2 sensors are not included with this kit.

No Splicing Required. With a plug-and-play design and all required hardware included, the BBK Performance O2 Extension Kit will install with basic hand tools in approximately one hour or less.
