As Ramadan begins, Libyans face soaring food prices after a fresh devaluation of the dinar, deepening a cost-of-living squeeze. The central bank cut the currency again last month — the dollar now trades at 6.4 dinars — and scarce foreign currency is pushing businesses towards the black market.
