As the first female diocesan bishop and first female bishop in the House of Lords, the Rt Revd Rachel Treweek has broken barriers while championing criminal justice reform.
A University of Reading alumna, she returned to campus in February for the Chaplaincy Lecture in our centenary year, and spoke about her journey from speech and language therapist to pioneering church leader, and reflecting on the role of faith in the modern world.
