A Boy and His Macaw is about a young boy enjoying time with his pet macaw. The boy is meant to be my grandfather as a child enjoying time with a bird (even though in reality I know he did not actually have a pet bird). It is more of the imaginative fun that he could have had as a child if he had a macaw. The fun and energetic times of a child full of wonder is the main theme of this piece. The child represents my grandfather and the macaw represents the wonder.
