Описание: Michael Moore visited us at the Calandra Institute to discuss his most recent translation from Italian of the classic historical novel The Betrothed, by Alessandro Manzoni, the first new English-language translation in fifty years.
The Betrothed is a cornerstone of Italian literature, language, and culture. Published in its final form in 1842, The Betrothed has inspired generations of Italian readers and writers.
