Staedtler Mars Lumograph Black Pencils Review - very black!

Описание: In this video I try out Staedtler Mars Lumograph Black pencils and I love them. They are not normal graphite pencils, they have a high carbon content that makes them very black and the drawing has a matt finish that is not like the normal shiny metallic finish you can get with graphite. So if you want really deep shadows in your drawings, this is how to achieve them. I suppose they have a charcoal quality about them, but they are very different. The leads are hard and definite.

They don't erase like graphite nor do they smudge or blend as easily. You almost have to think of them like pen and ink.you need to think before you make a mark. They are also great for cross-hatching in pencil. I'll be doing more with these pencils in due course.
