Built in 1980 at the height of the Cold War, the Georgia Guidestones, also known as America's Stonehenge, are a mysterious group of granite pillars located in the small town of Elberton, GA. Written on the stones are 10 guidelines for humanity, seemingly geared towards rebuilding a post-apocalyptic world. What are they exactly? Why were they built? Who built them (R.C. Christian)? And most importantly...WHY? Why go through all the trouble and why should we even care? After hearing about the Guidestones for years, I finally decided to go there in person to see them for myself and try to understand their purpose. 🙏🌎
