The ubiquitous result of not enough hip movement. Especially tight in people who sit or drive a lot for work.
Here are 5 simple, yet effective, stretches to help add some stretch to the ol' adductors.
There are a lot of muscles that make up this group, namely:
Adductor brevis.
Adductor longus.
Adductor magnus.
Adductor minimus
Pectineus.
Gracilis.
However, the Adductor magnus gets a notable mention because it can act as a hip external rotator, extensor, flexor and adductor. That is a lot of movement for one muscle. This means it is prone to tightness and injury.
I've included a mix of static, dynamic and CRC (contract, relax, contract) stretching.
You can follow this as a routine or pick one and make if your favourite to loosen up your tight groin.
