This easy sous vide chicken recipe is perfect for home cooks who want restaurant-quality results every time. Whether you're new to sous vide cooking or already love it, this method guarantees juicy chicken with crispy skin.
🛒 Ingredients (for ~850 g / 4 legs)
Chicken legs – 850 g / 4 legs
Salt – 8 g (about 1½ tsp)
Black pepper – 3 g (≈ 1 tsp)
Garlic – 3 cloves, crushed
Thyme or rosemary – 2 sprigs (or ½ tsp dried)
Paprika – 1 tsp
Butter or olive oil – 1 tbsp
Optional (for glaze): 1–2 tsp honey, chopped fresh rosemary
👨🍳 Method
Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic, and herbs.
Vacuum seal with a little butter or oil.
Cook sous vide at 75°C for 4 hours.
Remove from bag and pat skin dry.
Pan-sear on high heat until skin becomes crispy and golden.
Finish with salt flakes and serve hot.
