Baby giraffe, Hal, thriving at Utah's Hogle Zoo after somewhat difficult start

Описание: A newborn giraffe at Utah’s Hogle Zoo captured hearts and reminded animal care teams just how critical the first hours of life can be.

Baby Hal, now 10 days old, is the newest member of the giraffe herd. Born at 5 feet, 8 inches tall, the calf has quickly become a favorite among online viewers as he learns to walk, explore, and stay close to his mother, Minka.

But Hal’s arrival didn’t come without concern.
